The Dr. John Knox Hall, Jr. Scholarship of the Pittsburgh Foundation was created in memory of Dr. Hall, a psychology faculty member. It is expected that three awards will be made for next year. Each award, of over $4,000, will benefit a junior or senior majoring in psychology who has demonstrated outstanding academic achievement.
Applicants for this award must meet the following criteria:
- Junior or senior status by fall 2024;
- Overall QPA of 3.5 or higher as of the end of the spring term of 2024;
- Plans for a career in psychology.

The Rose and Zachary Caplan Scholarship Fund of the Pittsburgh Foundation was created to provide financial assistance to undergraduate students majoring in psychology at the University of Pittsburgh. It is expected that four awards of over $4,000 each will be made for next year.
Applicants for this award must meet the following criteria:
- Junior or senior status by fall 2024;
- Overall QPA of 3.0 or higher as of the end of the spring term of 2024;
- Demonstration of financial need;
- Evidence of community service/volunteer work.
