Who we are: The Education Partnership provides school supplies for students and their teachers in low-income schools in Southwestern PA. Description: STEAM Program Management Intern will help to provide equitable access to creative STEAM learning resources to build student success.

Duties of Intern:

Research and Data Analysis:

  • Research and analyze data for STEAM Lending Library
  • Research opportunities to create partnerships with summer learning camps and other out of school time organizations which will allow us to share STEAM learning with students from under-resourced schools
  • Perform programmatic data entry/analysis/research

STEAM Maker Cafe’

  • Staff STEAM Maker Cafe’ with a goal to engage with partner school teachers in our STEAM Maker Cafe’ to promote STEAM lending and maker opportunities
  • Assist in crafting engaging talking points to increase awareness of STEAM lending and maker opportunities for partner school teachers

STEAM Lending Library and Maker Space Assistance:

  • Verify, record and analyze STEAM kit lending data
  • Assist in creating engaging professional development for STEAM learning
  • Assist in designing innovative STEAM Maker Consumable Kits
  • Assist in file and record management
  • Assist with capturing, editing, producing and publishing video content for STEAM Maker Mondays
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Possess superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, other video, graphics editing and production software a plus
  • Possess high attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Possess strong problem-solving skills
  • Possess strong MS Office and Google Suite skills
  • Criminal and Child Abuse clearances required
