Melanie McColey

Undergraduate Advisor

Melanie earned her Master of Education in School Counseling from William & Mary and her B.S. in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh. She has nearly a decade of experience in higher education. Prior to joining the Psychology Advising Office as a full-time advisor, she advised first-year and undeclared students in the University of Pittsburgh Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences Advising Center. She also worked as an administrator in Pitt’s Office of Student Records and the UCLA School of Law Office of the Registrar. Melanie integrates her background in counseling, administration, and advising to provide a holistic advising experience for psychology majors.
