Cole's academic background is in Philosophy and the History of Science and Mathematics. He is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Outside of the lab Cole enjoys studying philosophy (e.g. Wittgenstein, Kierkegaard, Sellars, & Ricœur), theology, and the history of psychology. He enjoys cooking, art, playing with his dog Gustav, traveling, and coffee
