Research Interests

Nabila Jamal-Orozco is a doctoral student in the Department of Psychology and is currently advised by Elizabeth Votruba-Drzal. She obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Sociology from the University of California, Riverside, in 2014. Her research interests broadly include understanding socio-cognitive and emotion regulation interventions for learning, critical consciousness development in youth, intersectionality, and contextual factors that influence positive youth development and family processes.
