PSY 1059 Topics in Advanced Research Methods: Health Psychology

In this course, students will learn to conduct experimental and quasi-experimental research in health psychology, to critically evaluate research claims from health psychology, and to communicate research in an effective way. Course components include lectures, reading assignments, in-class activities, and an exam. However, the bulk of the course is dedicated to designing, conducting, analyzing, and then presenting findings from a novel research study in small groups.
